Justin Jefferson Agrees to Record-Setting Contract Extension with Minnesota Vikings

On Monday, after more than a year of negotiations, Jefferson agreed to terms on a four-year, $140 million contract extension with the Minnesota Vikings.

Jefferson expressed his gratitude to his family and the Vikings in a video on Twitter after the news of his contract extension broke.
"I'm so excited to be a part of this team and this organization," Jefferson said. "I want to thank my family, my coaches, my teammates, and the Vikings fans for all of their support."
The contract extension is a record-setting deal for a wide receiver in the NFL.
"Justin is a special player and a key part of our offense," said Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. "We're excited to have him under contract for the next several years."
Jefferson is coming off a breakout season in which he had 1,616 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.
"I'm ready to keep working hard and help this team win a Super Bowl," Jefferson said.
