World number one Scottie Scheffler was arrested by police on Friday after he was accused of dragging an officer with his car outside the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky, during the PGA Championship.

Scheffler, the reigning Masters champion, was reportedly stopped by a police officer while attempting to drive past a roadblock. An unverified video posted online shows one officer being dragged by Scheffler's car as it drives away.
